Lara Schmid

Accompanying people is what I have been doing for over ten years. Five of those in open youth work and five years supporting young people through the transition into working life, coaching them and standing by them through difficult phases. What runs through all of it: I don’t believe that someone on the outside knows better what is right for you.

I studied social sciences at the University of Zurich and then social work, completing my Master of Science in 2021.

I am studying kinesiology at the Heilpraktikerschule Luzern. The final examination as a kinesiology expert is due in September 2026. After completing my training I will be recognised as a kinesiologist under OdA KT and can register with the EMR and ASCA.

What inspires me about kinesiology is that it works holistically, uniting body, movement and conversation to support people through processes of change.
